Farmhouse apartment rentals in Tuscany hills, altitude 550 m. above
sea-level. Le Capanne' is set in a paradise of unspoilt natural beauty,
in the wild and beautiful wooded hills south of Siena. Beautiful woods
surround the farm are just waiting to be discovered by you. Here the
eyes remain hit by the immense forests, the rivers that run pure, the
unspoilt appearance of the landscape, where man presence is less than
that of nature. A real paradise for nature lovers !
The accommodation at 'le Capanne' consists of four apartments, sleeping
from 2 to 4 guests (to a total of 13, maybe 14...). The apartments are newly
refurbished in a classic Tuscan style, with 'cotta' tiles on the floors
and chestnut beams in the ceilings. Each apartment has a kitchen and
bathroom with shower, a wood-burning fireplace (winter fuel can be
bought from the estate).

Visitors can take advantage of the restaurant at the nearby hostelry (L'Aia
di Gino), only a short stroll from the estate. The new private pool
represents a good fun for children and a perfect place for your
relaxation. Available activities within a few kilometres include
horse-back riding and mountain biking (bikes can be hired nearby),
fishing and tennis. In autumn, the woods are full of mushrooms.
The village is at distance of 200 m from the farmhouse and has a little
store, where you can go shopping. In Monticiano, 15 minutes drive:
Supermarket, Bank with ATM- Bancomat, P.O, Pharmacy, Grocery, News
agent, weekly outdoor market and other stores.
The holiday farm is easy to reach from Siena, a 20 minutes drive,
linked by a very fast road. The sea side near Grosseto is within half
an hour's drive. Natural thermal spas 10 min drive.
